Doodh Ka Karz Ya Sindhoor Ka Farz!

What is more important karz (debt) or farz (duty/obligation)? Early morning breakfast time, I see this advertisement of some new tele-serial soon to be aired on some channel. I almost instantaneously asked Aijaz what is more Important debt or duty?

He answered debt.

Reason:- Debt you have to pay, duty you have to perform. to repay a debt is also a duty. A debt not re-payed in time hurts the conscience, a person in debt is always under pressure and feels small & miserable. So a debt is more important.

I laughed and said "Ok Then! Doodh ka Karz is more important than Sindhoor ka Farz right. Turning the newspaper advertisement towards him. He Gave his mischievous smile and retorted "Don't Act Smart with me! OK!"

Actually A womans life is always torn between her parents & her husband. In a flash of seconds, in a moment a girl becomes someones wife & has to leave her home for a man she hardly knows. she has to live & do things for people she will never really know. She has to listen & obey people who want her to behave & be someone she doesn't want to be. At such times, her heart yearn for some motherly warmth & her husband wonders what is it that he doesn't do that still reminds his wife of her parents?

when she wants to laugh at her fathers jokes, he wonders why she doesn't find him as humorous?

when she praises her brother he wonders what so great about him?

When she laments about her sisters laurels he starts belittling them.....

Women long to meet their parents as they slug it out to meet the expectations of their parents in law. They listen to the great deeds of their sisters & brothers in laws, when they long to hear the voices of their own Brothers and sisters.

A woman longs to do something for her parents, but her husband & in-laws become cuffs in the feet & stop her steps.

Really at such times & instances a woman wonders what is more important.
